Demonstrative adjectives are pretty straightforward, except that they often appear in pluralities in translation. Although their basic meanings (this, that, these, those) are familiar, bear in mind when translating that they often take on theoretical meaning rather than literal – more simply, demonstratives tend to be substantive often enough when trying to translate them.
