Playing an unbeknownst game

of who could interject when I open my mouth.

That feeling of when you get interrupted

Brother achieved a new accolade.

Sister scored the game winning goal last night.

and not being able to finish your thought or emotion.

Frustration and confusion lead to apathy.

Apathy crept into social life.

If you’re quiet, you go unnoticed.

I feel right at home.

They never mean to interrupt,

it doesn’t cause me harm.
